Late attendance and what it requires
Working after a nine o'clock finish means the cleaner arrives when the building is largely empty and the street outside is not. That raises practical questions about lone working, secure entry and exit, and who is contactable if something is wrong on arrival. None of them is an obstacle, but all of them need an answer written into the schedule rather than settled informally.
The benefit is that the rooms are serviced at the end of their use rather than the beginning of the next day. Consulting rooms, treatment areas and washrooms sit clean overnight, waste is removed the same evening rather than left, and the practice opens to a space that has not been touched since it was serviced. For many clinical settings that is the preferred position.
