The load arrives in ninety minutes
A crew room, kitchen and washroom used by twenty people between six and half past seven takes a day's worth of use in an hour and a half. Boots bring in soil from the previous job, the kitchen is used heavily, the washroom takes concentrated use and waste arrives all at once. By eight the room is empty and will stay that way until the following morning.
Cleaning that space in the evening means it sits in that condition for the whole working day. Cleaning it at nine means the administration team, any visitor and the crews themselves the following morning all encounter a room that was serviced after the load rather than twelve hours later. The difference in outcome for the same hours is substantial.
